Balancing study and work as an international student

It's not uncommon for international students to work during their studies at Lund, whether it's a part-time job, internship, volunteer position or any number of other practical opportunities to round out your skillset. But taking on an additional demand on your time can come with risks. In this episode, host and current student Megan Phillips (LU International Office) speaks to student guests Mary Budzinski (studying the Master's programme in Cultural Criminology) and Ngoc Quyen Do (studying the Bachelor's programme in Development Studies) about their own experience of working alongside their studies, and how to maintain a healthy balance of work, study, and free time. Together they discuss their jobs and how they found them, how they've managed to maintain their studies as well as working, and their advice for international students considering gathering some practical experience during their time in Lund.
